Individual achievements celebrated once again

Saturday (6th June) saw the club's annual presentation evening take place at The Plough Inn.
The evening was held to celebrate the individual achievements of players over the course of the last season.
It wasn't only players who were awarded though. Michael Gregory, Ollerton's ball boy and number 1 fan, was given the Dennis Walker Trophy for Outstanding Services to the Club.
The first of the player awards was Young Player of the Year. This was awarded to Will Horton, who at the age of 16 featured in the majority of Ollerton's games this season and made a good impression, scoring 5 times.
Next up was Player's Player of the Year. This went to Jordan Schofield who since arriving at the club, has been a key cog in the team, helping to solidify them from the heart of defence.
Following this was the award for Most Man of the Matches. This was presented to Craig Stanton who always gives it his all in the centre of midfield and chips in with the odd goal.
Will Horton was up collecting a trophy once again as he was awarded the Colin Gibson Trophy for Fan's Player of the Year. This was voted for by the team's fans on the last game of the season and Will was rewarded for all his good performances this season.
The penultimate award of the night went to Kye Pilmore who finished the season as Ollerton's Top Goalscorer with 15 goals, just one ahead of Chris Hewitt in what had been a close-fought battle between the pair all season.
The final award was for Manager's Player of the Year. This went to Eddie Bishop, another young player who has settled in really well since joining the club and has formed a good partnership with Schofield in central defence.

Well done to all the winners last night. It won't belong before it all gets underway for another season with the players set to return for pre-season training in 10 days.
